Chat Data
The text, context, and "raw material" you provide to Bassnote, as well as the messages generated by the Service.

Technical information such as your IP address, device type, and interaction logs.
We use your information to:
Provide and improve Bassnote's communication suggestions.

To ensure the safety of our users, improve the quality of Bassnote responses, and provide technical support, authorized administrators have access to view chat histories stored in our database.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your chat history to third parties for marketing or advertising.
We believe you should have total control over your most intimate conversations.
Delete History Feature
Within Settings, we provide a "Clear History" button.
Permanent Removal
Clicking this button will immediately and permanently delete all chat logs associated with your account from our active database.
Finality
Once you delete your history, it is gone. It will no longer be viewable by you or by any system administrator.
Backups
While data is removed from active databases instantly, it may persist in secure, encrypted system backups for a limited period (up to 30 days) before being fully overwritten.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you provide your personal information at your own risk.
Your messages are processed by third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic or OpenAI). While we send the text to these providers to generate responses, we do not share your personally identifiable account information (like email or phone number) with these engines.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy within the App.
